4th of July Wreath

I wanted to make something to go on my front door for the 4th of July.  When I saw this cute wreath on Etsy, and I have seen a few more quite similar floating around Pinterest, I figured I could easily make one myself, and for pretty inexpensive.  With a little yarn, a wreath form, and a couple of hours of time, you too can have a cute Patriotic wreath!  Grab your supplies and sit down in front of a good movie, or catch up on some tv shows, as this one is easy, but just takes a bit of time.  Next time I would probably use a smaller wreath form, so not to be as time consuming!

For as little as $10, you can have a bit of Patriotic Home Décor as well!

Red, white and blue yarn – ($6.67, but you only use about 1/2 of each color)

Wreath form – ($4.99)

white buttons

hot glue gun

Tie off your first color, and start wrapping around the wreath.

I found it was easier to keep the spool of yarn close to the wreath, as a longer length of yarn would get all tangled.

Wrap until you get to the spot you want to start your next color, and cut yarn and tie off.

Start next color.

Continue until the whole wreath is completely covered with yarn.

Attach buttons and a ribbon and go hang on your door.
