1.  DIY Dry Shampoo for Dark or Light Hair

Ingredients:

¼ cup arrowroot powder or non-GMO cornstarch OR 2 tablespoons cocoa powder +2 tablespoons arrowroot or corn starch

5 drops of essential oils (optional)

An old makeup brush to apply (optional)

baking soda

baby powder

corn starch

3.  DRY SHAMPOO WITH BENTONITE CLAY

1 cup bentonite clay to help absorb

1 cup arrowroot powder to boost

Cocoa powder to match your hair

5-10 drops of your pick of essential oils

1 dark-colored plastic or glass bottle with a cap, your choice of size

1/2 c cup water

2 tablespoons arrowroot powder or cornstarch (where to buy arrowroot powder, where to buy non-GMO cornstarch)

2 tablespoons vodka – rubbing alcohol can also be used, but it is more drying (info on sourcing non-GMO vodka can be found in this post)

a few drops of essential oil, optional (lemon, peppermint, rosemary, bergamot, lemongrass and lime are good options)
