5 Ways to Repurpose Your Old Tire

From couch to belts or to swings, old tires have many uses.  Don’t throw your old tires just yet because you can always repurpose them.  Check out some ways you can reuse your old tires.

 1.  Rope Ottoman

You will need:

a tire (used or new one)

6mm MDF cut into two circles of 55 cm diameter

six screws

a drill

a screwdriver

hot glue gun with at least 6 tubes of glue

5kg long and 10mm thick natural sisal twisted cord

a cloth,

scissors

concentrated brush sealer

10 40 lbs. Bags of Cheap Top Soil @ $1.35 per bag**

Old Tire

Three pieces of one inch link zinc coated chain 4 1/2 ft long.

Three 2 inch U-bolts.

One 5/16 inch Zinc coated quick link.

Roll of Twisted Poly Rope

Drill

Wrench

4.  DIY Tire Belt

1 used bicycle tire

1 old belt buckle you’re not using anymore

scissors, screwdriver
