Coasters are very useful to protect your table or other furniture from spills and scratches.  Here are some easy diy coasters you should try!

1.  DIY Painted Striped Coasters

round cork coasters (or cork board, round stencil, and exacto knife)

painter’s tape

paintbrush

at least 2 colors of acrylic paint

patterned/scrapbook paper

pva glue

wall tiles

felt fabric squares

clear acrylic sealer

6.  CROCHET COASTERS

YOU WILL NEED:

DK (8ply) yarn – I like to use a cotton or cotton blend

3mm or 3.5mm crochet hook – use a slightly smaller hook than usual because you want a nice firm fabric.

Needle to sew in ends
