Carry your cash in style by making your own wallet.  You will absolutely love these DIY wallet ideas that are very cheap and easy to make!

1.  No-Sew Wallet

YOU WILL NEED:

1 – 5″ x 12″ piece of (blue) fabric  for outside of  wallet

1 –  4″ x 11″ piece of (polka dot) fabric for lining.

1 – 4″ x 11 piece of Heat n’ Bond

1/4″ Steam-A-Seam

Scissors or rotary cutter and mat

1 snap (hammer & wooden spool)

An iron

MAKE THIS PROJECT!

2.  Fabric Wallet

YOU WILL NEED:

Outside fabric measuring 9.5″ by 5″, interfaced.

Inside fabric measuring 9.5″ by 4.5″, interfaced.

Note pocket fabric, measuring 9.5″ by 8.5″, interfaced.

Card slot fabric, measuring 18″ by 4.5″.

Zip pocket lining, measuring 4″ by 8″.

Side pocket fabric, measuring 6.5″ by 4.5″.

Coordinating zip, measuring at least 4.5″.

Magnetic clasp.

Coordinating thread.

Cutting mat, quilter’s ruler and rotary cutter, or scissors.

3.  Single Fold: Leather Wallet

YOU WILL NEED:

Precision Craft Knife (X-Acto or any sharp cutting tool)

4-5 oz. Leather Piece

Multi Sized Wood Slicker (A wooden chop stick or cylindrical wooden object can also be used as an alternative)

Stitching Groover

Scratch Awl

Crafttool Edge Beveller

Waxed Nylon Thread

Cutting Mat

Scissors

Sponge or Rag

4.  Bi-fold Wallet

Main Outer and Inner Pieces: cut two 9″x 5″ rectangles (stabilize with fusible interfacing if using quilting cotton)

Inside Bill Lining pieces: cut two 9″x 4 1/2″ rectangles (do not stabilize)

Tab: 3 1/2″x 3 1/2″ square (stabilize with fusible interfacing if using quilting cotton)

Pockets: 5″x19″cut two (do not stabilize)
