Albertsons: NEW Coupon Policy!!!

I loved Albertsons before this new change … and now I love them even MORE!

The #1 biggest change to the new coupon policy is: OVERAGE!!

You read it right! We will now be getting overage if a coupon exceeds the amount of the item (not using a Twice the Value Coupon.) Please note that the overage is applied to your cart (or the rest of your purchase) and not given as cash back like Walmart!

“Coupons that exceed the retail value of an item will have the remaining amount applied to the balance of the transaction. In the event a transaction balance results in a “credit”, additional items WILL be added/suggested to the order to utilize the remaining value of the coupon. We will not provide any “cash back” on coupons; however we will provide full redemption value”

EXAMPLE:

Weber Seasonings $.89
USE $1.00/1 Weber Seasoning Product
= FREE + $.11 OVERAGE!

Another change is the use of BOGO Coupons. (I myself have never had an issue with this)

You can use a BOGO Free coupon with a BOGO Free sale to get both items for FREE!

“Albertsons offers of Buy One, Get One Free (BOGO) promotions in their weekly advertisement can be combined with Buy One, Get One Free manufacturer coupons to result in BOTH items being Free. The items in the manufacturer coupon must exactly match our weekly advertisement offers and meet the redemption criteria”

EXAMPLE:

Right Guard Deodorant BOGO Free
USE BOGO Free Right Guard Coupon
= Both FREE

There is a printable version of the new coupon policy available, so I would be sure to print it and carry it along with you! 🙂 *Please note that this printable policy is for the Intermountain West Division!
