Brownie Supreme Dessert

IMG_8003

My friend told me about this killer dessert they had for her birthday, and I knew I had to try it at some point.  We were going to be meeting up with some friends for dinner at a park, and I was in charge of bringing dessert.  This was going to be perfect!  Everyone knows how much I love brownies, and these things are awesome, though I will say they are super rich, but oh so yummy!  When I was at the grocery store, I ended up with a package of Oreo’s, so this is more my own take on the recipe she gave me, so feel free to adjust it to your likes.

Serves 12-15 for about $0.65/serving

INGREDIENTS:

1 egg – ($0.10)

3 1/2 cups milk

8 oz cream cheese, softened – ($2.28)

1 small container cool whip – ($0.74)

1 cup powdered sugar

Oreo’s or other candy bar of your choice – ($0.97)

Pour over cookies, and let set in fridge for at least 5 minutes.

Be sure to keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

The original recipe then called for an additional layer of cool whip, and chocolate syrup drizzled on top of that, but it seemed good enough with the other layers that were already on it!!

ENJOY!
