Crock Pot BBQ Chicken

IMG_7582

Here is another great, quick, and easy, crock pot dish.  When you are craving BBQ, and it is not quite yet barbecuing weather, throw this dish together in your crock pot with your favorite BBQ sauce, and enjoy it any time of the year!  It’s a crowd pleaser as well, and you can make as much or as little as you need.  I like to make it even easier by just throwing the chicken breasts in frozen, especially if I have not planned ahead, and need to get dinner going in a jiffy!

Serves 4-6 for about $1/serving

INGREDIENTS:

4-6 chicken breasts

1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce

1/4 cup vinegar

1 tsp red pepper flakes

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2-1 tsp. garlic powder

DIRECTIONS:

Place chicken in crock pot.  Combine all other ingredients in small bowl.  Pour over chicken.  Cook on low for 4-6 hours.  Serve with whatever you like to eat when you BBQ chicken.  We enjoyed a nice salad and some French fries, and some fruit.

ENJOY!
