Crock Pot Lasagna

Yum, this turned out great!!!  I normally purchase the frozen lasagnas at Costco, as making them can be so labor intensive, and expensive.  So when I heard about making it in a crock pot, I was very skeptical at first, until a friend said she had tried a recipe for one, and it came out fabulous.  This was super easy, and I will be making it again for sure.

Serves 6-8 for about $1.45/serving

1 cup water

1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste – $0.38

1 tsp.  salt

1 tsp. dried oregano

1 tsp. dried basil

8 ounces lasagna noodles, uncooked – $0.49

Cover and cook on low 4-5 hours.

  1. This sounds equally as labor intensive if not more so as making regular lasagna?

  2. Kylara, it seemed quicker to me, but if you have one that is faster, I would love to hear about it! I like quick, easy meals. Thanks!!
