Acutally, winter came at 9:30 PM on Wednesday the 21st, Pacific time (west coast). The 22nd was the first FULL day of winter Winter comes at slightly different times each year, but always on the 21st or 22nd. It is the moment when the northern hemisphere of the earth is tilted the furthest away from the sun. FYI. 🙂
