DIY Canvas Silhouettes

I have been in the process of decorating my kids bathroom, its seems like it has been a long process. 😉
Not because the projects have been hard, I have just not been motivated to do them! HA!

I have completed one wall already with some Canvas photos.
My other wall is near the tub so I wanted something for the wall and a new towel hooks.

I had searched the internet for an easy way to make Silhouettes and thought I found the easiest.  Boy was I wrong.
There are two easy ways to do it: {I chose the EASIEST ONE!}
Take your kids picture from the side
1. Print the picture out, cut out their silhouette and then paint over their picture the color you want

I did not take pictures of this process cause it is SO EASY! 😀
First take your kids photos.
Load your photo onto your computer
Print out your photo to what size you will want
Cut out your kids silhouette
Paint over the picture in any color you would like
Let that dry then apply your cut out picture to your canvas or hard card stock.
I had the canvas left from the Canvas Photos from above, making the texture on the photos.
I just painted the canvas then applied my silhouettes.
My Daughters photo is covered in mod podge.
My Son’s photo just has smeared glue on the back.

They make a great color statement to the wall!
My next project is a new towel hooks

Oh look, a face! 😛
