DIY Cocktail Sauce

My husband and son are big fans of shrimp with cocktail sauce.  We don’t get it often, it’s a special treat at our house, which usually comes out for birthdays and New Year’s Eve.  Making your own cocktail sauce is so easy, and much cheaper than buying a bottle every time you have shrimp.  I use a recipe that I got from my Mom.  I often add about a Tablespoon of creamy horseradish sauce as well, because my husband likes it a bit spicy.  You most likely already have all the ingredients in your fridge and pantry, so the next time you have shrimp, whip up some of your own sauce for less than a buck.
