DIY Firestarters

With camping season on the horizon, these little guys will come in handy, and with things you already have in your house!!  They work on your backyard grill too!  Give them a shot…they are free to make, and take less than 5 minutes to do so.

 (Not sure exactly where I found these, but I am sure it was somewhere in Pinterest land!)

MATERIALS NEEDED:

Toilet paper roll

Dryer lint

Newspaper

DIRECTIONS:

Stuff your toilet paper roll with some dryer lint.

Wrap like a package in newspaper, tucking in the ends.

Start your fire by lighting the newspaper.  It’s that easy!

  1. Just a warning, not all the fibers in our dryer lint are safe…they can let off some pretty harmful fumes when burned! It would be safer to stuff the with cotton balls or pads, dipped in wax to make them burn longer…
