DIY Wooden Pumpkins

IMG_1579

These were so much fun to make, and oh so easy!!  You can make them any way you want.  I had seen these here and then just made them with what materials I had on hand.  So for me these cost me nothing to make, but you could easily make them for cheap if you had to purchase your materials…probably for less than $10 for all 3.

You will need some pieces of wood in multiple different lengths, that will be able to stand on a flat surface.  You will also need some smaller pieces for the stems,  some sort of rope, twine or ribbon for the vines, and felt or fabric for the leaves, as well as some orange paint, or you could even scrap book paper the different sides…whatever you want to do, possibilities are limited only to your imagination!!

Paint your 3 large wooden blocks.

Attach your stem, tie on your vine, and glue on your leaf.  Easy!

A perfect decoration for Fall…something you can get out in September, and leave out through November.
