Easy Pork Chile Verde – Crock Pot


This was super simple, and super tasty!!  I modified it with store bought tomatillo salsa, but man was it good.  Would make for great tacos, nachos, a taco salad…  We did pork burritos.  They were yummy!!

Serves 10-12 for about $0.90/serving

6-8 boneless pork chops – ($7.48)

Roasted Tomatillo salsa – ($2.98)

salt and pepper

Layer pork chops in greased slow cooker.  Season with salt and pepper.

Cover with salsa and cook on low for 6-8 hours, depending on amount and thickness of chops.  Mine were pretty thin so it was done about 6 hours in.

Shred meat in crock pot, and enjoy however you would like!

So easy, and a great alternative to chicken in the crock pot with a tomato based salsa.
