Kids Summer Bucket List

bucketlistIt’s almost that time of year again… SUMMER! 😀

The first few days are great because my kids love that they are not in school anymore but that love soon wears off.
I am always trying to find fun things for them to do during the summer to keep them busy and away from hearing….

I’M BORED!

I thought what a better way than for them to make a list of stuff they would like to do this summer!

Here are your supplies:
~1 bucket
~ Pencil and Paper
~ Construction paper, various colors
{I cut mine out into buckets and shovels}

Have your kids think of all the fun stuff they want to do this summer.
If they are young and need help with spelling use the paper to have them write it out first
Write it on your construction paper then place the activity in your bucket.
The idea isn’t to use it every day but maybe once a week or when you hear the I’m Bored.

Here are a few of what my kids came up with:
Camping
Fishing
Bike Ride
Swimming
Zoo
Aquarium
Water Park
Free Day
No School Work Day 😉
Movie in the Park
Movie at the theater

They both had so much fun doing it and I had fun watching them do school work without them even knowing it!  HA

Here is an idea for teachers:
Before the end of school cut out the bucket shape a lot bigger
Have the students write out 5-10 things they would want to do this summer.
Let them take them home on the last day of school.

How are you gearing up for the summer?
