Peanut butter, OREO, Brownie Cups

Oh yum!!  I was wanting to make some brownies, but wanted to switch them up a bit.  I happened to have a package of Oreo’s in the pantry still from making Oreo Truffle Balls at Christmas.  So when I saw this picture, had to try it.  You can’t beat chocolate and peanut butter!  There wasn’t a recipe that went along, just a picture, so I just had to wing it, and they turned out GREAT!!

Unfortunately when I went to the pantry to grab the Oreo’s, there were only 12 left in the package, so I made 6, and then the other 6, I popped a caramel in the middle…both were great!!

Makes 12 brownie cups for about  $5.00

  1. Hi DQ: Long time subscriber/follower. Quick question: do you think cake mix can be substituted for the brownie mix in this recipe?

  2. Lori,
Yes, I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to use cake mix, they would just be more of a cupcake than a brownie, but I am sure would taste just as good!! If they turn out, let me know, you could even change it up with different combinations of Oreo’s and cake mix flavors, and use jam or marshmallow fluff instead of the peanut butter.

    Hope that helps!
