Recharge Your Towels

Do your towels seem to lose their fluff and coziness after months and months of washing??  I came across this simple trick, and even heard from some friends that do it monthly, that this works so well!  With just 2 simple pantry ingredients, you can have your towels cozy and fluffy once again!

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup vinegar

1/2 cup baking soda

DIRECTIONS:

Put your towels in your wash machine, and fill with HOT water.  Pour in vinegar and let agitate for 1 minute.

Then add your baking soda.  Let run as normal, and dry in the dryer, with NO dryer sheet!!

Seemed to work fairly well, towels had some of their fluff back and didn’t seem as old and dingy anymore.  Maybe if I do this regularly, and start when I have some new towels, they will look great for years!  Give it a shot…let me know what kind of results you get 🙂

Comments

  1. I do not use dryer sheets or softener any longer. I only use white vinegar ( 1/8 to 1/4 cup depending on the size load) for all my laundry. My towels and linens are much better since changing over. (to say nothing of loads less expensive and no chemicals)
