Target Cartwheel Program: How To Save Even MORE Money at Target!

Target is an awesome store already with all of their awesome promos, stacked coupons, and hot clearance buys. They just stepped up to the plate with even more awesomeness by releasing Cartwheel.

You may have seen a post here or there lately with a Cartwheel deal and have skimmed past it because you had no idea what the heck it was. Me too. Once you figure out what it is and how to use it, you will see why it is so awesome!

First off.
The Cartwheel program works in conjunction with Facebook so you must have a Facebook account to use it. Cartwheel works by sharing your offers that you wish to redeem or that you do redeem on your Facebook Timeline. It will only use the setting that you select when you sign-up. When you are adding an offer to your list or saving in store, it will be published to your Facebook Timeline. You can select it show up for “Only Me”, it will only publish to your Facebook timeline this way and only you are the only one who will see it. You can set this by going to your app settings through Facebook or through the Cartwheel page.

You can use the Cartwheel Program on your phone or online.
To use it on your phone, you can access it through the FREE Target app or by going to  cartwheel.target.com.

How to get the offers you want.
When you get to the Cartwheel page, there will be a ton of offers available to you. Check them all out and select up to 10 that you would like to use. If this is the first time you are using the program, you are only allotted 10 savings cards you can use. You gain one more slot by each Facebook friend you have that uses the Target Cartwheel program. They don’t have to “sign-up” through you, just being your friend and using the program gets you extra spots.

You can select the offers you would like by clicking on the card.

How To Redeem These Offers.

If you use your phone, all you have to do is have them scan the barcode from your phone at check out to receive your savings. If you don’t have a smart phone, you can print your Cartwheel barcode from the website.

You can redeem each Cartwheel Card up to 4 times in 1 transaction. For the example above, with the egg savings, I could buy 4 dozen in 1 transaction and save 5% off all 4. The limit is 4 unless otherwise noted on the card.

You can do 6 Cartwheel transactions per day, though I am sure most of us will never get that many! 🙂 This means that you can buy all your limits in a total of 6 transactions. Sticking with the example above, this means I can buy 24-dozen eggs in one day. 6 transactions with a limit of 4 per transactions. Holy eggfest! Obviously many of won’t be doing this, but know that you can.

Also note that these savings do expire, you will see the expiration dates on the cards when you go to add them.

Coupon Stacking.

Right from the horse’s mouth here:  Limit no more than one manufacturer coupon, one Target coupon and one Cartwheel offer per item. That means three chances to save on one single item. Happy dance!!

This is an awesome way to save even MORE money at Target. I am excited, how about you?

Make sure to pin this to Pinterest to help others save more money too!
