Idaho Homeschool, Convention.
Fri-Sun. 8 am-6 pm. At the College Church of the Nazarene in Nampa. Three exciting days filled with a used curriculum sale, a curriculum fair, International speakers, workshops, children’s program, silent auction and more.

Parma Motor-Vu. Drive in Family Friendly movies. Fri and Sat night. Ages 11 and under are free.

Greek Food Festival.

Boise City Outdoor Pools Open.

Best Indoor Open Play. Fun ‘n Fit Inflatables and Danik Gymnastics. In June every Tues: 2-4 pm. Fri: 10-1, 6-8 pm. Every Sat 1-4 pm at Danik in Eagle.

Saturday, June 5th

Capital City Public Market. 9:30-1:30pm. Grove Plaza.

Meridian Farmers Market. 9 am-1 pm. At Lowe’s in Meridian.

I heart faces photo walk. 9-11 am. Start point Rose Garden at Julia Davis Park. Join us for a fun photo walk! Meet other photographers and get helpful photo tips from our leaders.
Leaders will choose their favorite photos from each walk to be displayed on the I Heart Faces web site. Each winner will also receive a great $50 prize!! EDIT **** this was an event that the participants needed to register and pay a fee for attending. The registration has closed! And they are not able to allow anyone who hasn’t registered attend the photo walk.****

Boise Library Hillcrest branch. 1 pm. (call to make sure of the time) Join us to tie dye, make sand-art jewelry, and churn old fashioned ice cream. Then sign up for Summer Reading while you’re here! Participants should bring their own prewashed articles to dye.

Nampa Public Library. Family Storytime-Bubbly Bubbles. 10:15-11 am. Bubble and Bath time stories with rhymes, activities, music and a craft.

Boise Public Library.
Saturday Special. 2 pm. Fun for all.

Sun Valley Celtic Faire and Scottish Heavy Events.

Family Fun Day. Barnes and Noble. 10 am-4 pm. Free. All ages. Come on into the store for the biggest party of the year. It’s a kids fair with booths galore. Face painting, finger casts, bookmark craft, ambulance tours, Curious George storytime with a visit with Curious George himself. We’ll have games and prizes too. Don’t miss out on these fun free activities that support St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.

St Al’s Capital Classic. A children’s 1 mile race. Ages 6-14. Start 11 am. Be ther 10:15 at the depot. Registration required. #367-3997.

Celebration of Flight 2010. Caldwell Industrial Airport. 9 am-3 pm. Fun for the whole family. Food, Aerial Performances, Helicopter rides, 40 planes on display, classic cars and motorcycles. Buy tickets online for $5. At the gate for $8.

Sunday June 6th

Old Fashion Ice Cream Social.
Noon-3 pm. At the Children’s Home Society Of Idaho. (740 Warm Springs Ave). Music, clowns, magic show, balloon animals, face painting, hula hoops, kettle corn and ice cream. #343-7813
