Friday, May 7th
Prairie Dog Playhouse presents “Star Warps! May the farce be with you.”. A family fun film. April 23rd-May 23rd. Fri and Sat 7:15 pm.

Fan Fest 2010 in Partnership with Drug Free Idaho. 6-10 pm. Memorial Stadium. The Boise Hawks and DrugFree Idaho are hosting a FREE evening of fun and substance abuse prevention, education and safety awareness! Come out and enjoy a family concert featuring Jonny Law, fireworks, kid’s carnival, Treasure Valley mascots, interactive and educational booths, fire/emergency vehicle tours, race cars, inflatables and so much more!

Milk Mustache Tour. The Milk Mustache mobile will be hosting free events. Fri:10-noon at Zoo Boise. Sat: 7-11:30 am at Race for the Cure. Fun activities, pose for milk mustache photos, sample milk etc.

Boise Music Week. Hello Dolly. Fri: 7:30. Sat: 2 & 7:30. Morrison Center.

Downtown YMCA.
Kids Night Out. 7 pm-8 am. For ages 5-11. registration required.

Best Indoor Open Play. Fun ‘n Fit Inflatables and Danik Gymnastics. Every Wed & Fri’s in May from 10am-1:00pm. Every Sat 1-4 pm at Danik in Eagle. Memorial Day 10-1 pm.

Parma Motor-Vu. Drive in Family Friendly movies. Fri and Sat night. Ages 11 and under are free.

Saturday, May 8th
Komen Race for the Cure. Race starts at 9 am.

Idaho Green Expo.
Boise Center on the Grove. Sat: 10 am-7 pm. Sun: 11-6 pm. Free admission.

Treasure Valley Country Western Dance Association monthly dance. 7 pm-11pm. At the Boise Square Dance Hall. FREE country dance in the Boise Valley that welcomes families with children of all ages and will play requested music all evening long. We will be giving away gift certificates, and we may even teach a mixer or two and a quick line dance. Donations will be gladly accepted to cover expenses.

Edwards Greenhouse. 10 am-4 pm. Potting Party. Kids can plant a pot of flowers just for mom.

Women’s Show Of Idaho. Expo Idaho. 10-6 pm. Admission $6 or $10 for two.

Art for Kids 2010. 1-2 at the Library! at Collister and 3-4 Library! at Cole and Ustick.

Boise Public Library– Puppet show. 2 pm.

Garden Celebration. Idaho Botanical Garden will be celebrating National Public Gardens Day with free admission from 10 am-6 pm. Girl scouts will be hosting free crafts, tours and educational activities from 2-4 pm.
