Walgreens: $.79 Jumbo Pack Diapers – Today Only!

I posted about the 15% and 20% off Walgreens coupon over HERE, and it turns out the printable version does NOT exclude diapers! Here’s how to get a jumbo pack of Walgreens brand diapers for $.79!

Buy 5 Packs of W Brand Diapers – $5.99 each
Use 20% Off Walgreen Coupon – Valid Today (3/31 ONLY!) = $4.79 per pack
THEN use $2/1 from the in store Infant Care Booklet (will take off $10) = $2.79 per pack
Pay: $13.96, submit for $10 rebate that prints with your receipt
Final Cost = $3.96 or just $.79 each!

Now, depending on your store and cashier, the 20% may be taken off the total price after the $2 off Walgreens coupon. The deal may work out like this:

Buy 5 Packs of W Brand Diapers – $5.99 each
Use $2/1 from the in store Infant Care Booklet (will take off $10)
Use 20% Off Walgreen Coupon – Valid Today (3/31 ONLY!) = $3.19 per pack
Pay: $15.96, submit for $10 rebate that prints with your receipt
Final Cost = $5.96 or just $1.19 each!

Thanks for the update Fabulessly Frugal!

  1. The actual coupon does state that it isn’t valid on diapers…. And in most stores the $2/1 coupon only works on 2 packages ($4 off)…. You’ll have to check with your individual store to be sure — mine won’t/doesn’t

    • It does work on diapers, but in store only. The wags $2 off coupon only worked on 5 packs of diapers though (I bought 6). Oh well, I guess I complain since I got a good deal anyways.

    • Ack! This deal was a pain. The math is way off on just about every coupon blog that posted this deal.
To get the $10 rebate you have to spend over $25 on the diapers, so I had to buy 9 packages of diapers to get the register to print the rebate form.

The cashier needed to scan the 20% Friends&Family coupon first, then all the diapers rang up at $4.79 each. By this point I was at $43.11, I had the $2 Infant Care coupon so that took off $18. I was then at $25.11 and got the $10 rebate printed.

Once I get that back I’ll have spent $15.11(+tax) for 279 diapers ($.05/ea). Not that great of a deal for what a pain it was at the register.

  2. we got six of these for 16.74 so if i get the rebate only 1.112 each!! i think mine came out cheaper cause she took the 20% off before the 2 dollars.

  3. Oh no guys, this deal really was a nightmare. The scenario looked good on paper, but by the sounds of it, each each store was doing it differently. Not that it completley matters now, but here is where I messed up:

You would have needed to buy 6 packs to get the $10 rebate b/c you had to reach $25 BEFORE applying manufacturer coupons but AFTER the 20% off. I guess we will all know next time :(. I’m so sorry! $1.99 per pack is still a great deal though!

I’m so sorry about the confusion! I had no idea the deal would actually work differenlty in store.
